This ball was among a group of similar trophy balls recently discovered in an estate, and the provenance of the ball as told to me was that it was obtained by a Phillies Connie Mack Stadium bat boy.  The batboy would save foul balls that were returned to the dugout, note the batter, and later paint the balls with the batter's team colors and game info.
The ball is beautifully painted with Reds Red and White colors, and features some toning and
minor wear
to the paint in areas, and a small area of leather loss.  McMillan is misspelled as McMillian on the ball.
The ball was fouled off by McMillan on April 24, 1960
in a game versus the Phillies; McMillan would lead off and go 0-4 in the game.
A fantastic looking piece of Reds history.
