This is a one of kind signed Carol Miljus handmade Giraffe Doll in exquisitely hand made dress. It is made of multiple materials and then painted with five layers to give it a uniquely antique cracked leather appearance.  It is dated with manufacture date of 1995.  Carol Miljus is a doll artist who started making dolls in in art festival appearances in 1992.  She creates all her dolls in her home workshop in Pennsylvania and it takes her about a week to complete each doll.  In 1998 these dolls sold for between and 5 a piece.   The Giraffe measures approximately 23" in length and 14" when sitting down.
