The Skar Audio SK8MB 2-way, 8-inch, marine full-range coaxial speaker system is perfect for upgrading the sound in your boat, UTV, 4-wheeler, or motorcycle. Sold as a pair, these 8-inch marine speakers are capable of some serious power output, with a conservative max power rating of 250 watts per speaker and 500 watts for the pair. This means everyone out on the water or trails will hear you coming from a distance, with extreme sound clarity. Not only do these speakers get loud and sound excellent while doing so, they are built to withstand the harshest of marine environments. If you are looking for marine speakers that will withstand the test of time, look no further, the SK8MB's are exactly what you need.
The SK8MB's feature a unique and seamless 2-way design - in which the highly efficient silk dome, marine grade tweeter, sits atop the mid-range speaker, for perfectly balanced and clear sound reproduction. Furthermore, the marine housing that encompasses this two way design not only serves to better protect the speakers, but also allows the mid-range portion of the speaker to develop more accurate and dynamic, full-range sound. Founded in early 2012 by the current CEO, Kevin Schlenker, Skar Audio has grown from just a hobby, into a business that now employs a full time staff of nearly 20 people. Skar Audio is located in the heart of the manufacturing district in Tampa, Florida. Our headquarters is home to the proud staff of nearly 20 people, who are audiophiles themselves and love to serve our customers everyday. With our facility being over 17,000 sq ft, and featuring show rooms, testing rooms, a new product development center, as well our warehouse and offices; we are happy to offer tours to local or visiting enthusiasts and customers to show them what we are all about. We take the hands on approach in delivering value to everyone we deal with, and maintain an open door policy at the office.
