    Description

Suffering several minor condition flaws,as well as a quite significant one, this late-Ninetieth Century tobacco card is from the D. Buchner & Co.'s "Morning Glory Maidens" series, sub-group General Subjects. Distributed through the Finest or Bravest tobacco product, this card is a large-format example from the series which has been designated by the ACC as N285. Scan #1 shows the front side which bears the maiden entitled, "Yachting". As seen in Scan #1, there are two small stains, one on the right edge and one one bottom edge. What appears to be a faint pencil notation is seen at the upper left corner. A small, light wrinkle is present near the lower left corner.
Scan #2 shows the reverse side which is heavily concealed and fully
compromised by the presence of paper residue from having been mounted in a Victorian-era scrapbook.
Either by soaking or other means, I have made no effort to remove this overcoating.
Thus the card remains in "as found" condition.
    The card meets exactly the
    measurement standards for this series.
Please review the scans. Questions emailed to me will be answered in a prompt and accurate manner. If won by the same high bidder, I will combine for shipment this listing with other individual items I currently have posted.
