N135 ~ Talk Of The Diamond; "A GOOD CATCH"; W. Duke Sons & Co. ; Back Damaged

Description

This listing is a late-Ninetieth Century tobacco card is from W. Duke Sons & Co.'s "Talk of the Diamond" series which has the ACC designation N135. Scan #1 shows the front side which bears the double vignette entitled "A Good Catch". As seen in the scan, the front side remains in very presentable, unmarked and undamaged condition. Edge wear is quite limited and, aside from a tiny bruise at the lower right, corner issues are extremely minor. Scan #2 shows the reverse side which is heavily concealed and fully
compromised by the presence of paper residue from having been mounted in the scrapbook.
Either by soaking or other means, I have made no effort to remove this overcoating.
Additionally, an area of the original card surface at the upper left on the reverse side has been lost. Thus the card remains in "as found" condition.
