    Engine Robot, Japan, 1970's-1980's:
    Now offered for auction:  One dark blue battery-operated Engine Robot, made by Horikawa, Japan, circa late 70's to early 80's.  8.5 inches tall.   Seller put two C batteries in the clean battery compartment and switched it on.  It immediately started making a loud grinding sound as it shuffled slowly forward, bobbing left and right, the light in the chest came on and one of the four pistons on the chest moved up and down.  A small piece of the battery compartment door has broken off, but does not affect operation.  Buyer pays shipping and insurance is required.  Good luck bidders!  Please check our other auctions for more robots and other cool collectibles.
