Description
CWS 6:1 Balun and Unun Combination. Current Type. Custom Designed by Jerry Sevick W2FMI SeriesHigh Power K-type Powder Coated Core 6:1 ratio;
Can be used to match either a 300-ohm balance antenna to a 50-ohm co-axial input, or a 300-ohms unbalanced antenna to a 50-ohm coaxial input.
Frequency Range: 1.5 - 30 Mhz.
Built using Weatherproof box for outdoor use. Designed for used in outdoor with rain, snow, or sunny hot weather condition. Note that it is not water proof and there is no need for waterproofing. All the parts used will not corrode or oxidize when exposed to the environment. Most of our customers have been using our balun and unun outdoors for over 20 years without any problems with the weather.

This balun/unun combination was personally designed by the late Dr. Jerry Sevick for our company. Custom K type core is used to obtain the widest bandwidth. UL rated 200 deg C thermoleze coated wires used. The wires are sleeved through teflon tubing for high voltage breakdown.

Typically insertion loss is less than 0.2 dB with an efficiency of 97 percent.
